Park Ha-Eun

Oh Ji-Hyun
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the specific implementation process of home-visiting play coaching and the change process of participants to improve playfulness with ASD children. The Participants in the study are ASD children and their mother. To this end, the cyclical process of planning, execution, observation, and reflection was repeated by applying the participatory implementation research method to reflect the needs of the participants. The home visiting play coaching program consisted of a total of 10 sessions, and Floor time intervention was applied. This study analyzed various qualitative data (recorded data, videos, researcher notes, participants¡¯ reflection diaries, e-mails, supervision data, and interview data). As a result of the study, the changes of participants in the process of implementing home visiting play coaching were categorized into three core topics (approaching to play, moving forward together, and mothers becoming experts). This study is meaningful in that it helps participants become active subjects through interaction between researchers and participants during the implementation process, and helping parents who have difficulty interacting with ASD children at home.
